Youth Leading the Charge – Climate Action Now!
Fabris Mulindi shared how young people across Africa—especially in refugee and rural communities—are rising to confront climate change. The conversation explored the direct impacts of climate change on youth and their communities. Inspiring examples of youth-led innovation, grassroots action, and resilience were featured. The event empowered listeners to recognize and support local youth initiatives driving environmental change.

Completion of SuFaTS – Sustainable Farming Techniques and Solutions Project
SuFaTS equipped farmers with practical skills in sustainable farming, home gardening, and climate-smart agriculture. Aimed to transform limited land into sustainable sources of nourishment and income. Part of SOLFA’s broader Sustainable Livelihood Program. Supported by AL for Agribusiness Network under the Group Fund Program. The project emphasized grassroots leadership and climate resilience.

Youth Climate Council (YCC) Regional Consultation – Kyangwali
Brought together refugee youth leaders, local changemakers, and national stakeholders. Discussed climate challenges and developed local, youth-led solutions. Participants contributed to shaping Uganda’s national climate policy. Empowered refugee youth to participate meaningfully in national climate strategy development.
SOLFA Youth Festival 2024
A dynamic festival celebrating youth creativity and leadership. Featured performances, debates, and speeches on climate change and food security. Youth shared solution-focused recommendations and were inspired to see themselves as changemakers. Led by SOLFA CEO Fabris Mulindi, reinforcing youth empowerment.

Launch of SOLFA’s First Original Music Piece
SOLFA youth released their first original song, celebrating community, creativity, and change. The project used music as a tool for storytelling and raising awareness on social issues. Encouraged youth to use artistic platforms to express themselves and inspire others. Marked a new chapter in SOLFA’s digital and creative outreach.
